What IS Happening In the Spirit Realm?

Hi friends, I’ve been fielding phone calls, messages, and emails from believer’s who have been a Christian for years. I’m finding since July there has been an all-out assault on those of us who truly believe and are working toward maturity in Christ.

My immediate team of writers, along with myself have been met with life-altering sickness and injury. I broke my wrist on July 2nd. There are many Christian leaders who are hospitalized. Long-term marriages are now facing divorce. Circumstances that are utterly overwhelming.

Just today alone. Two texts and tow emails.

But why?

Well, I’m asking the Lord about what is happening and the only thing I hear right now is: Persevere.

So that is what we will do. I know Holy Spirit will reveal more to me. And I’ll share with you. I wonder, are encountering the same?

How to pray: (WITH GUSTO and faith) KING JESUS, today I stand in faith for my health, that of my family. I set a declaration that all sickness, financial disaster, divorce, abuse, accidents are hereby now defeated and stopped in Your name. I also declare we will walk in Your divine protection. I plead the blood of Jesus over all under my love, stewardship and protection. In Jesus name. AMEN

    Hi Lynn,

    I am also a writer. Been facing physical attack after attack for 3 years straight. I was getting to a good place and then felt shot at again. I now am in 2 Bible studies. I decided to fill my life MORE with God’s Word and also spent this whole year renewing my thought life and releasing trauma. It has been good. Though my body is still recovering, my spirit is pretty healthy and I am not moved. Jehovah Jireh is with me in it all. He has reminded me He sees me…Jehovah El Roi, even in the ugliest of times. I am praying for your arms!!! Isn’t that crazy how the enemy tries to destroy the very part of your body for your calling? Your hands? Same happened to me in January that I slipped on ice. Thankfully did not break bones, but instead developed tendinitis in my fingers. I had crazy strong hands before and must now take great care not to overdo. Though writing by hand too long can be annoying, I can still type!!! Now I just need to write what God called me to.

    Yes…but not sure they are spiritual in nature or a natural progression from living under years of stress and lack of self care. High blood pressure and high cholesterol. Taking steps to improve overall health and self care but not easy when so many require attention. Also husband exuding bitterness and anger over many things he has no control over. He is like a battering ram determined to destroy peace and calmness in our home.

    I am so thankful that I feel like we are coming out of a refining season. I see the shift happening in the spiritual realm as well. Gods love and light is brighter and more powerful than the darkness. “If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become light around me,” even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.”
    Psalm 139:11-12

    Thankyou for sharing this. Just this week my sister in the UK, my mother here in Australia and myself have all separately been hit with discouragement, despair, frustration and anger. Whilst we might experience this from time to time, its intensity and the fact we’re all feeling it at the same time is unusual. This has not been the least of it btw but a pretty good indication something’s up. Thanks for sharing, Lynn., appreciate the acknowledgement and the encouragement to persevere.

    Dear Lynn,
    This is such a timely message!!!! I too can feel it in my immediate surroundings too!! Marriage difficulties again. (I thought we were over these issues but they seem to be back with a vengeance!) Troubles with addictions with my stepsons again and perhaps my husband. I can feel the darkness as I walk up my sidewalk coming home from work, church, or wherever…I often find myself fighting my thoughts, to turn them over to Jesus. I am asking the Holy Spirit for help.
    The world, my town, everyone is in some type of distress. My health….Here I just thought the immediate was just me and my imagination.

    Hi Lynn! I needed to hear this word today. An answer to a question I asked the Lord today. It’s been a rough couple of months with my SUM. It’s been especially tense these last few weeks. Monday and Tuesday the subject of divorce came up. This morning once again. I feel like I’m on a roller coaster.

    I it appears that I’m not the only one that is living through this. It’s gonna be fantastic when we can look back and see all that God did in our lives through all these challenges and the brokenness we faced.

      Hello! I just saw this post and yes I agree. My husband, Mike had a recurrence of colon cancer in his liver now. He just started treatments again on Wednesday. That same day, my daughter, Caitlin had a panic attack. God has been doing great things in both their lives. I am claiming the blood of Jesus over both of them and trusting our faithful and merciful God who knows and sees everything.
