Excerpt from My Child Sees Monsters by Ann Marie Mora and Lynn Donovan
Ann Marie: I started this epic and unprecedented adventure of spiritually cleansing my home by opening every door and window in the entire house, as recommended by Lynn. Next, I grabbed my essential oil, blessing it in Jesus’s name, and then sat down silently on the floor, one room at a time. I invited the Holy Spirit into the room. I prayed, asking the Holy Spirit if there was anything that was unholy or that opposed the love of Jesus. In each room I discerned a picture or heard a word in my head identifying something in the room that was not right. I picked it up, threw it out, and then recited this prayer:
Father, I ask for your protection over this home/room/space today. I recognize there is something not of you in this place. (If you know what the name of the sin is, call it out here in this next sentence). I command _________ to leave and go to the foot of the cross right now, it cannot come back, retaliate or ask for help on its way out, I repent for partnering with ______, please forgive me Lord and I bless this home and my family with the spirit of peace, holiness, clean thoughts, pure hearts, good communication, a turning of their faces to you Lord and a spirit of purity and anything else you want to bless them with.
Then I blessed each room with family unity, good communication, bold conversations, love, and anything more I sensed was needed, and always in the name of Jesus.

Helping Your Child Navigate Their Seer Gift
Ultimately living for the Kingdom of God is positioning yourself for the best as a parent and it’s the best for your child. Salvation through Jesus is the first right step. See salvation prayer.
The next steps are:
A. Admit you that you make mistakes and have hurt the heart of God and/or others. Forgive yourself and others.
B. Believe in The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, understand that Jesus in the only son of God and He sacrificed his body and shed His blood on the cross to cover our sins and pay our debt.
C. Commit your life to God. Ask for forgiveness and for Jesus to come into your heart and to help you make good decisions, to give you wisdom and to grow closer to God and to look more like Jesus each and every day.
Train Up Your Child
Train up your child to know what to do and how to operate in their gift.
Always invite your child into these cleansing prayers, maybe even have your child repeat after you. Remember, there is no junior Holy Spirit. Your child was given a gift to use it, be open and honest and let them burn with passion for their gift that God gave them. Help them recognize and discern the voice of God between their voice and the enemy’s voice.
God’s voice is always kind, gentle and loving, and lines up with the Word.
The enemy’s voice will be condemning or even sound like God’s voice but will twist the truth. Check scripture to see if it lines up if it doesn’t line up with the word, it’s the enemy. He is sneaky.
Our own voice sounds like us, except it is more selfish with I, I, I, me, me, me.
Ask your child, what do you see/hear/feel/smell/taste/touch?
Why is it here, what are you/we supposed to do about it?
Where is the open door?
Who do we need to cover in prayer?
Do we need to repent for somebody or ourselves?
Finally, practice, practice practice. Pray, pray and pray some more. We won’t always get it right, but if we are trying our best to stay in peace, use our gifts for love and to glorify God, then we are on the right track.
Stay In Peace

2 Timothy 1:7 says: “God does not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and a sound mind.”
You are not crazy and have no need to fear.
What happens when there is no peace?
If there is no peace or it suddenly left, your new job is to find out where the open door exists.
An open door is a sin of some sort or incorrect belief system. Remember we are to stay connected to the vine and when we are living in sin, we will soon know it because the peace will be gone and whatever this looks like or feels like for you, I am sure it will be easily identified when the peace has left. Trace your steps, hold a family meeting and be open and honest as to why you’ve set the meeting. For this to work, you have to be open about what you are doing and why.
I tried to hide it from my family at first because I didn’t want them to think I was crazy, but that is the lie of the enemy. It’s important to get your family on board to attain peace and operate in the giftings the way they are intended. If this is not possible, then you may just be battling daily like I did and trust me, it really wore me out and made me weary. Fighting alone is not much fun. Here is the cleansing prayer.
