A Prayer For Healing
I hope you had an opportunity to read the scripture references Cindy posted in the comments last Friday. They are underpinnings of the experiences that occurred for roughly 10 days in August. There are many more scriptures and experiences in the Bible that are similar to what happened to me.

Today, I want to share that after I saw myself dancing with Jesus, I then saw Jesus in an embrace with MIke. They were standing in front of his chair in the living room. Mike was weeping on his shoulder and the kindness in this masculine hug overwhelmed my heart. I felt the love Jesus has always had for my husband.
What I didn’t realize at the time but have come to understand now is that Mike processes Jesus, faith, and prayer differently, so differently than me, than most believers. But it doesn’t make it any less valuable or real.
In fact, I’ve watched Mike’s faith and prayer in action this past week. Last Friday, this would have been October 27th, Mike was admitted to the hospital. He had been experiencing fever spikes to 103 and a dry cough. I had to reface the possibility of Leukemia or something different. However, after three days of tests they confirmed his symptoms were not recurrence of disease. Thank you, Jesus.
Actually, after multiple tests, visits from the infectious disease physicians and everyone else, it seems, they couldn’t identify his condition or cause of the fevers. Weird.
I feel a little dumb admitting this now, but it wasn’t until almost a week later, on Wednesday, it occured to me to ask Mike to pray aloud with me.
We prayed a simple prayer. Something like this. In the name of Jesus, I command all infirmity, sickness, fever, cough and disease out of my body right now. I bless myself with divine health. In Jesus name. I spoke it. He repeated.
My friends, the very next day, there was a marked improvement. He remains hospitalized but is finally getting better (November 1). Ultimately, he was diagnosed with pneumonia caused by a fungal agent. At least that is the physician’s speculation, but they still aren’t absolutely certain.
Interestingly, when a condition is difficult to diagnose or the doctors can’t figure out what is causing symptoms, it’s typically a spiritual causation. Go to prayer. Repent, close doors to demonic access, and command out all sickness, disease, infirmity and affliction. Then bless with health, healing and specifics. All in Jesus name.
Mike and I have prayed several times since and yesterday, He prayed for me. These are his small acts of faith and prayer. Praise the Lord for small advances. Hallelujah.
Okay, next story is the Garden story. I can’t wait to take you with me to the garden.
How many of you need healing? If you are willing, share your healing need in the comments and I will pray for you. Love you so much, Lynn
